I have been struck by a light of such power and grace that I cannot see
but for the wondrous Angel of beauty standing here in front of me.
She radiates magnificence as she reaches out and takes her hand in mine
and the universe that surrounds us seems to be frozen in time.
I gaze deep into her Angel eyes and see a reflection of her soul
that I would not trade for all the copper, the silver, or the gold.
When she looks at me she washes away all my darkest troubles and fears
and I tremble with excitement every time that she comes near.
Then the Angel whispers to me "I will be here to guide you on your way"
"I will put you back on the path if you should ever go astray."
At this I awaken and once again I am sad and very much alone
the darkness and emptiness inside chills me right down to the bone.
I long for the time when I can look at the eyes of my Angel again
but I will be thinking a lot about her from now until then.

IF I HAD WINGS...
I COULD SORE OVER THE WORLD.
SEEING LIFE AS IT TRUELY IS.
SEEING PEOPLE HURT OTHER PEOPLE FOR NO REASON, BUT FOR THERE OWN MADDING REASONS.
IF I HAD WINGS.
I WOULD FLY AS HIGH AS I COULD.
I WOULD FLY HARD & FAST.
THIS WORLD WON'T LAST.
NOT UNLESS PEOPLE WANT TO CANGE.
IF COULD FLY WITH THESE WINGS ANY WHERE I WANT.
I WOULD FLY HIGH.
I WOULD KISS THE PEACEFUL SKY.
I WOULD FIND A PLACE WHERE I COULD CALL HOME.
WHERE THERES NO FIGHTING.
WHERE THERES NO DEATH.
WHERE THERES NO INJUSTEST!
IF I HAD WINGS.
WOULD FLY HARD & FAST!
& AS LONG AS I CAN BET THEM.
I WOULD KEEP GOING AS FAR AS I CAN.
UNTILL I FOUND PEACE.
IF I ONLY HAD WINGS........... |
