Love letters and love poems by Keats

I am going to post what I run across by Keats, who died of consumption (tuberculosis) at the mere age of 26, having written some of the most beautiful and enduring poetry of his age.

Asleep! O sleep a little while, white pearl!

ASLEEP! O sleep a little while, white pearl!
And let me kneel, and let me pray to thee,
And let me call Heaven's blessing on thine eyes,
And let me breathe into the happy air,
That doth enfold and touch thee all about,
Vows of my slavery, my giving up,
My sudden adoration, my great love!

Bright star! would I were steadfast as thou art

BRIGHT star! would I were steadfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night,
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like Nature's patient sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still steadfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.

Thats a nice one Killashandra. Heres one for you to read.

Our two worlds are so diffrent.

How did we and up like this?
How did we fall in love.
When we are so diffrent,
In everway.

I say how i feel to you .
& you keep EVERY thing hidden deep with in you.

I live in the light.
& you live in the darkness.

But when we are in each others arms.
Are two world collide!

The passion!!!

The intensity!!!

Send me some kind of sign.
I need to know if this is real.
I was so close to giveing up on life before i met you.
Is this love real?

Or am i dreaming.............
