afterwards

she slept, swept
with moon and sex,
drawn pale and sheer,
silk seamless
in starlight night.

his hand laced soft hair
wet where legs met
in satin fold and crease
parted with desire.

her taste and smell
lingered lips and hips,
fingers, tongue,
and face,

pulling room and bed
and dream
across love's soft
hour of oblivion.
