This one's called 'Dark Eyes'
Her eyes were dark like the sky that night
And they reflected the stadium lights like stars
My hands grew cold gripping the chain link fence
But that didn't matter with her warmth beside me
Did she know I stood alone and played for her
Not for the lonely masses in the stands
That it was love for her that guided my intonation
And filled my lungs with air when there was none
I knew all that awaited me was disappointment
I can never seem to please the judge in his sky box
I'd have worried about it as my hands grew cold gripping the chain link fence
But that didn't matter with her warmth beside me

Nice poem!
It just left me puzzeled what the chain link fence means. Is it a sport you are mentioning?
